AM: At 8:00 AM, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Hue City and begin a meaningful journey northward to Quang Tri Province, a region once at the heart of Vietnam’s most turbulent chapter. Your first stop is the historic Hien Luong Bridge and the 17th Parallel, the former dividing line between North and South Vietnam. Standing at this symbolic site, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the country’s separation and the immense emotional weight it carried for generations. Next, step into the Ben Hai River History Museum, where a collection of photographs, war relics and powerful stories bring the past vividly to life. Then, venture underground into the Vinh Moc Tunnels-a remarkable network built by resilient villagers to survive relentless bombings during the American War. Explore this subterranean world complete with wells, kitchens, classrooms and living quarters-a powerful testament to human endurance and ingenuity. After emerging from the tunnels, enjoy a peaceful break at Cua Tung Beach, where you can take in the fresh sea breeze and reflect on the morning’s experience. From there, continue to Dong Ha Town for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

PM: Continue your journey westward along National Route 9, tracing the path once used by both military forces and supply lines. Visit the legendary Khe Sanh Combat Base, one of the most intense battlefields of the war. Walk the grounds of the former Ta Con Airstrip, and see preserved helicopters, tanks and other remnants that offer a stark glimpse into the past. As you make your way back, pass through the scenic Dakrong Bridge - once a key route of the Ho Chi Minh Trailand enjoy a cultural encounter with members of the Van Kieu ethnic minority, known for their rich traditions and warm hospitality.
